TYLER ESH SCORES CAREER FIRST 410 SPRINT WIN AT THE FABULOUS LINCOLN SPEEDWAY;

Brent Shearer and Bob Gutshall score wins in 358 sprint and wingless super sportsman action

ABBOTTSTOWN, PA 4/7/2018 – Tyler Esh of New Providence led all 25 laps from his pole position and held off 2-time 2018 winner Brian Montieth to pick up his first career 410 Sprint win at the Fabulous Lincoln Speedway Saturday afternoon. Freddie Rahmer settled for third, Alan Krimes fourth, and Cory Haas fifth.

Rounding out the top-10 were Kyle Moody, Jim Siegel, Chad Trout, Brandon Rahmer, and Landon Myers.

Heats for the 17 410 Sprinters on hand were won by Tyler Esh and Scott Fisher.

Manheim’s Brent Shearer started on the pole and led all 20 laps en route to his first win of 2018, and the third of his career in the 358 sprint feature. Shearer took the checkered 2.53-seconds ahead of Mike Bittinger for the win, with Troy Wagaman, Jr. third, Jeff Halligan fourth, and Chase Dietz fifth.

Completing the top-10 were Dylan Norris, Matt Findley, Dave Brown, Brie Hershey, and Cody Fletcher.

Heats for the 19 358 Sprinters on hand were won by Chase Dietz and Dylan Norris.

Bob Gutshall kicked off the super sportsman season with a win in the special 20-lap wingless super sportsman feature. Finishing 1.41-seconds behind in second was Billy Brian, Jr., with Steve Wilbur, Carmen Perigo, Jr., and Craig Perigo completing the top-five.

Heats for the 15 Wingless Super Sportsman were won by Joey Biassi and Bob Gutshall.

Lincoln Speedway is back in action next Saturday night, April 14th at 7 PM, with the 410 Sprints and 358 Sprints being joined by the street stocks. Gates will open at 5 PM, with hot laps getting underway at 6:30 PM, and heats at 7 PM.
